Statement / Description of the gallery
Art Show Philippines is an artist-run initiative gallery that aims to empower Filipino artists to exhibit their work globally.
ASP, which began as a platform for Philippine art during the pandemic in 2020, has grown to a formidable multimedia platform with over 3,000 local exhibiting artists. With over 23,000 social media followers. ASP is the go-to for the Philippine Contemporary Art portal, serving as a link between Filipino artists of all levels and regions, and art lovers worldwide.
Art Show Philippines continues to innovate for Filipino artists and Philippine art in 2022. ASP’s events include fundraising exhibits for children with cancer and typhoon victims, art mentoring sessions for indigenous children, and mental health programs for artists. Launched in November 2021, the “ASP Gallery Walk” marks the beginning of simultaneous virtual and physical art exhibits for ASP and cements its status as the art purveyor in the Philippines.
