In 2019 Eiva Arts Foundation represented Armenia at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space/PQ 2019 with the “Utopian Fashion” contemporary installation which was an anthropological research concept about human-costume relations, where costume creates a new renaissance-community. It was a theatrical spectacle aimed at looking at the far future of humanity through the perspective of costume.
The Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space was established in 1967 to bring the best of design for performance, scenography, and theatre architecture to the front line of cultural activities to be experienced by professional and emerging artists as well as the general public. Statement/ Description of the proposed show
The expositions is about the discretion of radiating life with its beauty. Traditional style, modern life rhythm, courageous technical innovations in juxtaposition with clean colours, emotional expressiveness and compositional structure will epitomize the artist’s vision on love and beauty. These allegorical art pieces will take the viewer to the journey delving into the ancient myths but at the same time depicting the micro world of the artist’s soul in the most personalised, subtle and multilayered manner.
